These adventure race training programs are ideal for people wanting improve their performance levels on races, learn from experts and compare notes with other competitors. Training for adventure racing days offer training and fitness advice for participants who are interested in developing their fitness levels to compete in adventure races. The program will involve obtaining information on training programs, diet and training techniques as well as cover warm up and cool down sessions. It will be outdoor based, with participants spending time actually training on the water and in the countryside. Some time may also be spent at the gym, depending upon your training preferences and availability. This service will be based on the Isle of Purbeck in Dorset over two days, with a variety of accommodation options offered. The program will be run by a Cumulus crew member, who is very experienced in the outdoors alongside a fitness trainer who also competes in triathlons and adventure races. Transport to and from the local train and bus stations can be arranged as well as refreshments during the day.
Participants learn more about training specifically for adventure races and can experience a variety of training within stunning environments in keeping with those experienced during races. Participants will be able to compare notes with each other as well as pick the brains of the adventure and training experts. Although sessions will follow a standard format, session leaders will be able to adjust the content to suit the participants, therefore leading to an almost bespoke experience for each participant. Individuals will also receive personal training plans developed by the two experts.
