Wake Boarding Adventure Experience

Cumulus Outdoor Events runs wakeboarding sessions along the south coast of England. We have different venues near Lyme Regis, Weymouth, Poole and Bournemouth. We have some great RIB power boats that can take up to 8-10 people at a time however, we prefer to keep the numbers lower to around 5-6 people as this gives each person more time actually wakeboarding during a typical 3 hour session. Sessions could also be combined with our great Dorset Coasteering sessions we run along the coast.

For experienced wakeboarders, you can just jump on in and get going, for those who are new to the sport, we prefer to give a small land based briefing beforehand to run through and practice the basics. This makes the initial coaching of getting your stance right and getting into a standing position a little easier. Once you are kitted up in wetsuits and buoyancy aids, you head out to the powerboats. The exact location used on the day will depend upon the weather and water conditions. We try to find the calmest, quietest location on the day so that you can make best use of your time on the water. Once on the water, everyone has the opportunity to have a number of attempts, taking turns in order to give people an opportunity to recover a little between tows.
