Sailing Adventure Experience
At Cumulus, we run sailing and yachting experiences in Dorset and Hampshire. Corporate sailing events can be organised on your behalf, using a huge range of commercially coded yachts with professional skippers. Team sailing events can be arranged as well as races along the coast. Groups can also enjoy a multi-activity water sports day, hosted on board a number of yachts whilst making use of powerboats, jet skis and zapcats, or even having a go at our famous Dorset Coasteering sessions.
These multi-activity days can be just for fun or have a more detailed objective for team away days such as involving treasure hunts and competitions. Using the activities, combined with our outdoor learning and team development experience we run inspiring, effective as well as challenging outdoor training and team building programs.
You can be as active or as relaxed as you wish on sailing days. You can get involved with all the action, help with navigation, crewing, pulling on ropes, tacking and gybing as well as controlling the boat at the helm. If you want to practice manoeuvres and work together as a team, skippers can arrange various drills on the water to test and improve your ability to sail together. Alternatively you can sit back and soak up the sunshine and enjoy the views.
As well as the activity, there is of course the food and refreshments. Meals can be arranged on board or we can arrange to stop ashore at various harbours, coastal pubs and restaurants for lunch or dinner.
Activities are open to any age but all under 18’s must be accompanied by a parent.
