Sports & Social Clubs Adventure Experiences
Cumulus run adventure events such as Dorset Coasteering for sports and social clubs as well as for private parties and stag & hen groups. Our sports group adventure days and social group adventure weekends are great for social clubs and friends as well as sports teams and sports clubs to take a break from their training and enjoy a series of challenge adventure activities that are great for building the team. Teams often combine an adventure activity session or two as part of a weekend tour, playing local teams. We can help with contacts and arranging fixtures (although we may be a little bias as to who we'll be supporting).
The Cumulus crew of instructors are very used to working with rugby and hockey club members; they can give as much as they can take and enjoy the banter as well as running the sessions for your teams. The same goes for social clubs of all types. Our emphasis is always upon having a safe but very enjoyable time.
On a par with stag and hen groups our most popular activity sessions for sports and social clubs tend to be:
- High ropes course sessions where your party work directly with members of the Cumulus instructing crew throughout your entire session
-
Climbing and abseiling sessions on spectacular coastal cliffs (great for swimming from after the session or dolphin spotting over lunch)
-
Canoeing and kayaking sessions including a trip around islands with various challenges on route (often rather wet challenges)
-
Coasteering sessions along stunning stretches of cliffs and rock pools, a mixture of climbing, scrambling, swimming and jumping
We also often find that clubs (sports teams in particular) also enjoy participating in one of our adventure races open to everyone or sometimes ask us to put together a smaller, private adventure race just for the club. In this way, we can focus a lot more on the activities (due to the number of people involved), giving participants the challenge of the activities as well as the challenge of beating other club members.
