Geo Caching Adventure Experience
Cumulus run Geocaching challenges around Dorset, Hampshire and Sussex. Geocaching corporate days are a great form of treasure hunt with team members hunting around parts of the countryside or towns searching for secret hidden caches of information, clues, equipment, rewards or treasure of all kinds. Geocaching experiences can also be enjoyed by couples, families and the individuals booking on certain pre-organised general public events online or over the phone. Geocaching activity days can also incorporate various other activities such as climbing, Dorset Coasteering or raftbuilding in order to obtain the caches.
Hidden around the area used are a series of containers, covered by leaves, half buried, hanging from trees, found semi submerged in the middle of a lake, maybe even tucked away on a cliff ledge or placed behind a statue in a museum, They may even be found behind a book in a library. Some containers have information on other caches. Some have a piece of the information to a special item of treasure with the rest of the info to be found in other caches. They may even contain treats, gifts or requests to remove one item from one cache and placed in another. In all the caches can be found a written log for people to complete: who, when and how they found the cache, what they took and maybe what they placed inside. The trick is to find, open, take whatever is inside, complete the log and return the cache to it's original hiding place without other members of the public discovering your activities.
To find the caches, we help you out with the first few clues, grid references or maybe GPS waypoints. We also provide maps, compasses, GPS' and advice. Of course, if you have opted for an adventurous or extreme Geocaching event, you will also find Cumulus Crew members at some locations (or maybe hiding somewhere) to help you with ropes, rafts, canoes, zipwires or what ever else is required to find the cache in question.
Activities are open to any age but all under 18's must be accompanied by a parent. Discounts are available for families (parents and children).
