Climbing Adventure Experience

Cumulus run climbing activity days and sessions for beginners, teams as well as more experienced people. Climbing challenges can take place on outdoor climbing walls, but mainly we prefer to go out and use the real thing. Rock climbing sessions take place in spectacular locations with cliffs overlooking valleys, hillsides mountains and the sea, such as our location near Swanage where we also run Dorset Coasteering sessions. Teambuilding climbing days work really well, enabling teams to work together; for those that want to push themselves, for those that want to just have a go, for those that want to see what it's all about first and even those that want to keep their feet firmly on the ground.

We design team building climbing days for corporate clients around various projects. We train individuals with our qualified climbing supervisors and mountain instructors on various aspects of climbing, the rock face itself and the safety ropes involved. Everyone has the opportunity to practice and develop all the basic skills required under the watchful and helpful eyes of the Cumulus Crew. The team then move on to use the skills learnt in order to achieve a given task in the area where they have to make use of their climbing skills as well as their rope handling skills to ensure everyone in the team has a safe experience. At all times our instructors and supervisors are on hand to double check everything, offer advice and take over if required.

All of our locations have simple access arrangements but most do require a stroll in the countryside to get to the rock face.
