Abseiling Adventure Experience
As well as rock climbing experiences, we also provide abseiling challenges or our Dorset Coasteering session as well. Quite often we combine the two to form a complete package however for those who just like going down we offer abseiling as a separate activity. These abseiling experiences can take place on a variety of towers, bridges and buildings but we do prefer to make use of the real thing: abseiling from mountain and hillside crags, quarries, the occasional mine shaft and cave as well as coastal cliffs. Corporate abseiling days and team build abseiling days can be organised along the same lines as our corporate climbing days. Individuals can book online or over the phone for abseiling activity days.
With our Cumulus Crew of climbing and abseiling supervisors and mountain instructors we can run a straight forward abseiling activity session or we can delve more deeply and explain all the equipment, the safety rope systems and techniques. We can even show people how we set up abseil systems and give them a chance to practice themselves under the watchful and guiding eyes of the Crew.
Abseiling is a skill and technique used for rock climbing. It plays a vital role in access climbing routes as well as being able to leave descend back down to even ground. Therefore clients on abseiling sessions also tend to experience a little bit of climbing as well unless we operating from a building, bridge or tower. For more information on abseiling you can complete our contact form and we'll send you some details, or you can zap over an email or give the guys a call in the office.
Groups can arrange their own dates and times for sessions. Small parties, families, couples and individuals can book on to set dates by calling the office or booking on line:
